DCHS offers a range of summer enrichment opportunities spanning from summer youth employment, skills-based workshops, career exploration programs, college preparatory programs, and various other interest-based programs (sports, arts, subject-based) that cater to their needs. Summer Opportunities Sessions will run from July to August. Please keep in mind that different programs have different dates, so commitments depend on the opportunity your student selects.
The Project Coach Teach program which hires our HS students to work with our elementary school kids during summer has already begun accepting applications.
The application deadline for Project Teach was Friday, March 19th.
YDS/Counselors have already started working with students on this application and hosting resume workshops.
The Summer Youth Program has not yet started taking applications. As soon as it does we will inform our students.

The survey will also ask you to confirm if you would like your student to participate in summer opportunities remotely or in-person.
