DREAM Charter Schools

We've remained committed to providing uninterrupted quality education to our scholars. Below we will aim to provide updates that pertain specifically to DREAM Charter Schools.

DREAM CHARTEr school updates

  • Spring In-Person Learning Update: We’re excited to announce that in Q4, hybrid students in grades 3-8 will attend in person four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), up from two days a week. As a result, there is not an option for families of students in grades 3-8 to send their child in-person two days a week. All hybrid students in grades 3-8 will come to school in-person four days a week starting on Monday, May 10th. During Q3 conferences, your child's teacher/advisor will ask you to choose whether you would like your child to be 100% remote or hybrid/in-person for Quarter 4, which begins on May 10th.

  • It’s application season for the 2021-22 school year: If you know someone in your community who’s searching for a school like DREAM, please send them our way; you can direct them to www.wearedream.org/enroll. We’re enrolling for Pre-K through 12th Grade in East Harlem and Mott Haven, and in particular for our founding 6th Grade class at Mott Haven Middle School, opening its doors in the fall.

  • Summer Programming at DREAM: We are so excited for Summer 2021! Visit our DREAM Programs page to learn more and see how you can register your scholar in the DREAM Summer Programs today.
