Pre-K

A message from your Principal

Hello Pre-K Families,

What a pleasure it has been getting to know you and your children over the last few months. Whether it has been learning through the Zoom classroom, connecting over the phone, or on Seesaw, my team has loved teaching and learning with and from the pre-k students this year. As we enter into the second half of the year I'd like to encourage all families to reach out to their child's teacher or myself with anything they might need and remember to continue to take advantage of the 'Learning at Home' Centers Activities we provide every other week. Please post pictures, videos of your children learning, we love to see it! I look forward to continuing learning and growing together.

    • In Unit 9: Our Earth, children will learn about the life cycle of plants, geography, conservation, and climate. Children will explore geography by learning about different landforms found on Earth. By creating, reading about, and using maps, children will practice navigation. Through various unit activities, children will explore conservation topics, such as recycling, reducing waste, and reusing items. Additionally, children will pretend to be weather forecasters as they learn about the impact of the weather and seasons.
